Paid Internship Position

(September 15, 2024-July 15, 2025)

Position Overview:

LunART is seeking a graphic design intern who is looking to gain experience in a non-profit environment and for those interested in entering fields related to arts administration, music, dance, theatre, and/or social justice. We seek a graphic design intern for a one-year position (September 2024-July 2025) to support our organizational efforts to celebrate and uplift women artists.

 Operation Manager Intern 23/24 

This is a flexible position, 5-10 hours per week. All of our team members work remotely. Compensation is $500, to be paid twice, in January and June. We seek creative, motivated individuals to collaborate with our enthusiastic team dedicated to equity in the arts, with the opportunity to learn about the nuts and bolts of an arts nonprofit. 

Reports To:

The graphic design intern will report to LunART Founder and Executive Director, Dr. Iva Ugrcic.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Design graphics and marketing materials for events (posters, flyers), fundraising, merchandise, etc. 

  • Assist creative director and digital marketing coordinator with the website and marketing needs, including but not limited to the following: creating design layouts for website, blog, and social media accounts

  • Develop and maintain organizational branding.

  • Attend weekly team meetings and follow up on action items efficiently and according to deadlines.

  • Manage and update LunART’s website.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong background in and love for graphic design.

  • Solid grasp of branding and current trends.

  • Attentiveness to different project goals.
